How we make money
SMB Security Review participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means that when you click on certain links on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
We are affiliates of NordPass, EaseUS, Surfshark, Malwarebytes, and Bitdefender. These relationships are managed through affiliate networks such as Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate). Reviews of other tools on this site are not affiliate relationships — we do not earn a commission from those links.
Our editorial independence
Our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial opinions, scores, or recommendations. We test tools independently and report what we find — including weaknesses and limitations — regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with the vendor.
We never accept payment in exchange for positive reviews. Tools are included in our comparisons based on their relevance and quality for SMBs, not based on whether we earn a commission from them.
How to identify affiliate links
Affiliate links on this site are labelled with "We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you" near the link or button. All external links open in a new tab and include rel="noopener" attributes.
